Medina's Second Annual Farm-to-Table Community Dinner will be held Thursday, August 3rd (rain date Thursday, August 10th). Medina's event will deliver a sensational locally-sourced meal in the middle of Medina's Main Street Historic District. The meal itself will be a full five-course dinner, prepared by chef Michael Zambito. Each course will feature pairings from local Niagara Wine Trail wineries, 810 Meadworks, and a WNY brewery. The event will be located on the north end of Medina's Main Street, between Pearl and West Center Streets. Guests will arrive at 6:30 with the first course scheduled for 7pm.   Orleans County History Department Cemetery Tour - Mt. Albion
The Orleans County Department of History will be hosting a series of cemetery tours running every Sunday in August beginning at 6pm. County Historian, Matthew Ballard, will lead visitors through three historic cemeteries in the Albion area. This week's tour at Mt. Albion explores the gravesites of Albion's pioneer settlers, prominent attorneys, politicians and criminals (east end). The group will assemble at the cemetery chapel on Route 31 in Albion. All tours are free and open to the public - no advanced registration is required. Tours will take place rain or shine so bring an umbrella or jacket in case of inclement weather.

  Orleans County History Department Cemetery Tour - St. Joseph's Old Cemetery
The Orleans County Department of History will be hosting a series of cemetery tours running every Sunday in August beginning at 6pm.   Orleans County History Department Cemetery Tour - St. Joseph's New Cemetery
The Orleans County Department of History will be hosting a series of cemetery tours running every Sunday in August beginning at 6pm. County Historian, Matthew Ballard, will lead visitors through three historic cemeteries in the Albion area. This week's tour is at St. Joseph's New Cemetery located on East Avenue near Bullard Park. When this burial ground opened in the early 1920s, a painstaking process of exhuming and reinterring bodies took place between this cemetery and the "old" Brown Road cemetery. The group will assemble at the cemetery chapel and depart at 6pm. All tours are free and open to the public - no advanced registration is required. Tours will take place rain or shine so bring an umbrella or jacket in case of inclement weather.
