5th Annual Oak Orchard Open Tournament June 10 & 11, 2017- After a very successful and improved 4th  year of this event which introduced a new format with 5 Salmon and 5 Trout making up the legal catch, and  no communications, this year should be even better. Lake Ontario Counties (LOC) Summer Trout and Salmon Derby June 30- July 30, 2017-Grand prize will be $12,500 for the biggest Salmon. Information can be found at www.loc.org or by calling 888-733-5246.

New York’s Free Fishing Days June 24-25, 2017- Although no fishing license is required (resident or non-resident) all fishing regulations must be observed. What a great way to introduce the whole family to the relaxing sport of fishing.

26th Annual Erie Canal Fishing Derby July 5-16, 2017- Great fishing abounds on the Erie Canal. Eligible waters are the Erie Canal from the Niagara River to the Route 98 Bridge, located in the heart of Albion. More than $8,000 in prizes is available.
