A New County Tourism Logo is Adopted!

New Orleans County Tourism LogoAs you’ve seen on the website, Orleans County has a new Tourism Logo! The previous logo was over 15 years old and we wanted a refreshed look that had appeal to multiple markets.

The main part of the logo is represented by the County Courthouse dome, our most iconic image in the county. The courthouse, built in 1858, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We’ll use this image in our general tourism promotion and we’ve developed several themed treatments to the logo which can be applied to specific markets or seasons. For example, fall and winter seasons, wineries, agritourism, fishing, and the Erie Canal are depicted by separate interchangeable icons to fit our many marketing campaigns. You’ll see these throughout the website pages. These and other treatments will be developed for print ads and internet media, and public relations .
