About

Historic Downtown Medina, located on the wide bend of the Erie Canal, consists of a variety of specialty shops, restaurants, lodging, houses of worship and businesses - mostly in restored 19th century buildings. Fine sandstone deposits brought this canal village prosperity with export of this ideal building material all over the world. The vibrancy of Medina exists as a result of volunteers and organizations that host events throughout the year.
