Painting In Nature

Join us at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center (1101 Casey Rd.) to learn about and enjoy landscape painting with watercolors. This program will be held entirely outdoors as we use the surrounding landscape as our inspiration for painting. All materials provided, everyone is welcome! If you are an avid plein air artist you may bring your supplies and join in on the fun!

Date and Time: Saturday, August 24th, drop in between 10:00am-2:00pm

Location: 1101 Casey Rd, Basom, NY 14013

Registration Information: Pre-registration is required. Send an email to logan_sauer@fws.gov or call/text/leave a message at 612-759-8662.
Activity Level and Accessibility: Easy-active, will involve walking, sitting, painting if you wish. Restrooms and water fountains are located at the visitor center. Rest areas/benches are present along the HQ trail.
What to Bring: This program is held entirely outdoors. Dress for the weather. Cancellation notices will appear on Facebook and to any provided contact information from the registration process.
